Well, goodbye then!

As this blog has completely lost support from all the members of our group it will now be dormant.

It will only be revived in the unlikely event of any members expressing interest in it.

You can believe it if you like

This picture was taken during a recent expedition of the
U3A Walking Group, of which John Derrick is a member
as well as Jack Luxon and Peter Watson

Shortly after the picture was taken the group demonstrated
that they can walk on water as well as perform acrobatics.

The holiday is nearly over

A reminder to you all that the new season for our Computer Group starts at 10.00 am on Friday, 7th September, when we will once again meet around the table at the Open Door in Aller Parade.

We hope to be welcoming a few new members at this meeting.

WESTON HOSPICECARE

Pictorial proof that I successfully completed the gruelling 5 mile walk (not as gruelling as trying to post this blog message via Google account though!). Many thanks to all my sponsors. Supporting walkers are tennis partners from Hutton Moor 50+ sports club plus Daniel.

Fancy a yomp?

Our new leader is a very energetic gentleman. Not only has he taken us on he is also the leader of the 5 to 7 mile Walking Group. He has just published the new programme up to September. which you can find on the Activities Page on our web site www.u3aweston.org.uk Just click on the INF tab against the Walking Groups' entry to open it up.

Peter Watson and John Derrick are also members of this group. If you fancy just a light stroll then have a look at Ian Gamlin's Green Walks programme on the same page.
