Society blogs

If you click on my name as "CONTRIBUTOR" on the right here, you access my blogger profile**. This shows the blogsites which I run, or am a member of**. The Mendip Society one is new: it is 'owned' by the Society, and I am a 'member', as will be all the Committee members, Walks Leaders, other Officers and any Society member who wishes to participate. We are just setting this up, which is why there are only 2 "Contributors" at present. The site will be 'moderated' by 2 of the Officers.

That site has "contributors" too, and clicking on 'Mendip Society' shows the Society's "profile", i.e. what the society is about. Furthermore, the "Links" section now leads to the Society's 2 websites.

Quite capable, this blogger thing, once you realise that setting up a club blog is often best not established by setting it up as one of your own! That's the mistake I made initially with the Mendip Society one, which led to "Mendip Society" appearing for a while as a contributor to this U3A group site! Oops!
