Click on line
I know that all my fellow members of this group are early risers, particularly at weekends, and that immediately after their last spoonful of porridge they dash off to turn on their computers. For this reason they may have missed BBC's "Click on line" programme, broadcast on BBC 2 not long after 6.30 am on Saturday mornings and repeated for the sluggish at about 7.45 am on Sundays.
This programme often contains quite interesting news items, and from time to time it draws attention to web sites that might otherwise be missed. This week there were two that I thought might be of interest to you.
The first of these will bring back memories of your more youthful years. It is
www.punk77.co.uk, The second might not appeal to quite so many of you, but it does contain some very good photographic images. It is to be found at www.flickr.com.
You can find Click on line on the BBC's web site if you do not want to see it on your television set.
