Can you copy and paste?
Can you copy a document in Word and then paste it into a blog? Well, let's try and see.
For your information, and particularly for the benefit of Peter Watson, who raised this matter at today's Computer Group meeting, the first paragraph of this blog was typed by me as a Word document. I then highlighted and copied it in the usual way.
When I opened up the Blogger posting screen I went to the very top of my screen which was displaying the usual headings "File", " Edit", "Email", etc. Clicking on to "Edit", I chose "Paste" and lo and behold that which had started off life as a Word document duly appeared in the blog.
I use AOL, and my screen probably looks different to those set up by other providers. However, I am sure they all offer similar facilities. This should mean that it is perfectly feasible to prepare a posting in Word and then use it for a blog posting. I look forward to my friends who do not use AOL being able to confirm this.
