The whale which nearly capsized us.

I am struggling with my new computer and I thought I would try to send you a blog as a test of my limited skills.

After many false starts I have managed to put on a picture of a whale, but it is not the one referred to in the Title - why, I do not know!

We were very lucky on this trip to see so many whales, some of them complete with babies, as we had been told that the season was almost over and that on the previous trip they had not seen any. In particular, we were lucky to see the one which is the title of this blog, which lifted the boat up out of the sea. Apparently, when they do this, they intend no harm but are glad of the chance to scratch their backs! Roger
