Sites worth seeing

Following my usual practice of handing out information that you are already well aware of, I came across a couple of web sites in the current issue of "WebUser" that I think are worth a few moments of your time.

The first of these is "Howstuffworks". This is a well-known site, but I mention it as I have just been using it to refresh my memory about bits and bytes and Boolean logic. Jack Luxton referred to these at a recent meeting/ Informative articles on both subjects can be found in the Compurer Section. The address is

www.howstuffworks.com

The second is really for football fans. Football is far from my favourite hobby but I looked up to be able to pass it to a relative who is quite hooked on it. The site is

http://sites.sixfields.co.uk

It provides access to the web pages of every league club. I have had a look at some of them and I have been impressed with their sheer quality. If I turn up to the next meeting wearing Tottenham Hotspurs kit you will know that I too have finally been hooked.
